I have a friend who has garage sales at she has more cash on hand than I will ever have. The catch is she advertises her garage sale and lets friends bring over their items and share in the cost of the adds also.
There is a yahoo group called Freecycle. Look up Yahoo groups and go to the freecycle in your area. People post items they are giving away free. You may find items for yourself, hubby or kids.
Also, the price of metal is up. Iron is way up. Mu husband can’t work either and is on disability and he collects the metal and cashs it in for money. He made $52 one check and $17 the other.
The local “Y” may offer assistance to help you get back on your feet as well.
Hope these ideas help some!
I know where you are at.
Hang in there and don’t be afraid to ask others to assist.
I used to be that way and I learned fast that can be stressful and you get nowhere but down on yourself.
You aren’t alone.

Can you work as a temp for an agency doing light clerical, filing, answering phones, data entry? That way you would be able to work or not as you feel able. Don’t know how well that would pay though…
Most jobs that pay well are pretty labor intensive. i mean, you could do factory work (assembly line) which can pay great money, but i don’t know if you want to do that if you are pg.
If you are pg, do you qualify for any state or federal aid? WIC? food stamps and stuff? anything???? You should really look into it.
could you work in a day care? or maybe in a local school as a teacher’s aide or something?
