Answering objections and dealing with REjection is one of those skills that is difficult to teach. Because one of the few methods of becoming successful at it is what is called in the biz “internalization”

This is where you commit to memory, (and deep down in your subconscious mind) every single answer/response in almost all situations. Not the easiest of tasks, but the brain has this wonderful facility for absorbing this stuff…through REPITITION. That’s what internalizing is all about - the more the solution/response is repeated (seminar, listening to a CD/MP3 over and over, and practice-practice-practice), the more comfortable you will be in front of your prospects.

It’s also about PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT. People aren’t buying Avon. They are buying YOU. Who you are. How you project yourself. What YOUR body language says about how comfortable you are with yourself, and the product you are promoting. So, develop yourself - everything else will fall into place.

I agree with what Internet Mentor has said here but have a few things to add.
You have to approach someone with the attitude that they NEED what you HAVE. You know when someone tells you about a product that they have, your mind starts going and you start thinking about how someone else you know could really use that. For example, let’s say someone approached you selling a salve that is good for everyone, but especially babies who have diaper rash, it speeds up the healing dramatically. Now if you don’t have a baby, your mind is quickly thinking about someone who does. You go to that person and tell them about this salve and you tell them about all the benefits, even though you are not the one selling it.
If you get into that frame of mind where you “see” the benefits before you even get there you will have better sales.
My Avon lady that I had for years and years, was not your typical saleswoman. She just went up and down the street, dropped off catalogs, then called about 4 days later for my order. When she dropped my order off, she would always come in and visit with a kit full of the newest items to show me plus the next catalog. She would leave it with me, and she ALWAYS told me she would be calling a few days before the order had to go in, in case I forgot. She always called for my order. She formed a relationship with everyone she sold to by doing just that. While she was showing me the new products, she would be telling me all about her family, chat about what was going on in the news, just being a friend!
She was the top rep around here for at least 20 years and that was all she did.
Hope this helps!

You have to find a need or a want before you share about your product/business in MLM. If done like this, rate of rejection is lower. Also, you have to understand why you are afraid of rejection? It is not you they are rejecting…They are not buying because its not a need for them. When they decline, just ask for referrals. Thats the way I would do it..

1. My MLM Prospecting: I use SiteBuildIt to create my websites. There is nothing better.

2. For getting MLM referrals and building lasting relationships OFFLINE (and this is suitable for network marketers from all companies.) I use SendOutCards (Take a free trial and you will see what I mean)

3. My MLM Autoresponders: Follow Up is handled by AWeber. And the campaign sharing facility allows my sequence of follow up messages to be copied from my account straight into my new downline’s account so that I can get him/her in full swing in quick time.

4. My MLM Training: All handled in the Renegade Network Marketer.

All sown up in a neat bundle, success simply seen in any MLM opportunity.
