Comments on Seriously, is there any such thing as a legitimate “free” work-from-home job? »

Unfortunately, they all have “start up costs”.
One thing I would suggest is being a dispatcher for a taxi or trucking company. They pay well and you can work from home.
If you are good with computers you could do website building/computer maintenance from home.
If you need to make money fast (legitimately) and can do so, go drive a semi truck. Drivers are always in high demand and you can easily earn a couple grand in a week. All you need is a 1A license and you are good to go.
I really don’t think there are - they are almost always going to be scams.
If anything seems too good to be true, it usually is.
The fact you’ve had bad experience of these in the past should tell you something - don’t fall for it again!!
I would suggest learning some new skills, such as to do with IT, computers & internet that means you could work remotely. Many companies offer the ability for employees to work from home too.
Another way to look at it is to see if you can use any of your hobbies / interests to earn money. An amateur photographer for example could start to make and sell prints… Or, if you are very knowledgable about something, you could start a business in that - selling from ebay, or starting a website…
All the best… biggest bit of advice - avoid those scams!
You mentioned you are disabled, but didn’t mention what. Maybe you could find work away from home. There are many people with many different types of disability that don’t stop them from being able to work. Might be easier said than done, but don’t rule it out.
There is no start up fee with GBG (an almost 10 year old company in California that provides people with natural products to help peolpe gain back a vibrant health and weight management). Take a look at the 15 minute business presentation (take a look at the products too). If there is some there that you like, let’s talk more. If this isn’t for you, then thank you for your time.
These are legit, free, and the companies have been around for a long time. Any legitimate business is going to take a lot of hard work and some time to build it up. You can start now.

Sadly most are scams ….Scamming people who can least afford to be scammed.
